Do you believe in miracles?!??!?! YES!!!!! I knew it, I knew they couldn't lose 20 games in a row. No way they were going to lose that many. This team never quits, they may have lost 19 straight, but I knew they couldn't lose 20 straight. Down 6-2 facing Shohei Ohtani? No one comes back from that, no one. They ended up hitting 3 bombs off Ohtani and dinged him up a little and got to the bullpen. The Orioles bullpen on the other hand was AWESOME. Dillion Tate, Tanner Scott, Cole Susler, Tyler Wells, they killed it. They limited the Angles after the initial onslaught and that is what won them the game, well them and AUSTIN HAYS with the HUGE pinch hit double, very Delmon Young like. Homers from Santander, Stewart, and Mullins were huge. Mancini starting the rally in the 8th, this whole team hit tonight and it was fucking awesome. Also Trey bringing the sage around the ballpark today was the tipping point. The fact that they stared Shohei right in the face and won the game was great, that is why you play the game.
So damn happy for these guys, so damn happy. They've been close to snapping the streak the last few nights but couldn't break through. It was only a matter of time. 20 in a row was NEVER going to happen, NEVER. 39 wins in August never felt so good. And check this out, THEY CAN WIN THE SERIES TOMORROW!!!! Obviously this season is trash, it's not fun, but tonight was fun. To see the heart and comeback from the guys after getting kicked to the ground time after time after time, this is the best.

I had a lot riding on this too because that dickhead Banks dug up my old tweet from May saying I'd jump in the inner harbor if the Orioles lost 20 straight. Funny thing is that was from the Orioles FIRST 14 game losing streak, I was all prepared to jump in the harbor and everything, it's a shame that won't be happening. I had faith in my guys the entire time, knew they wouldn't let me go in that disgusting water. I'm just so happy for my guys. Make this a winning streak now and get the series. Don't let them get hot!
