The End Of An Era: After 32 Years On The Road The Insane Clown Posse Is Officially Calling It Quits Due To "Health Concerns"

Source - There’ll be no more clowning around. Insane Clown Posse has announced their farewell tour amid rock star Violent J’s severe heart failure diagnosis.

“It’s very embarrassing and very not cool to have to say you’re taking a step backwards,” J, 49, told fans during the annual Gathering of the Juggalos music festival in Ohio over the weekend.

“This doesn’t mean I’m going to die or anything like that,” the “Hocus Pocus” performer assured the crowd in a video posted to YouTube, adding that it “means basically we can’t do things the way we used to do them.”

Owing to his declining health, Violent J — real name Joseph Bruce — revealed that he and bandmate Shaggy 2 Dope, aka 47-year-old Joseph Utsler, will be taking their act around the globe one final time in 2022.

Terrible. Truly terrible. I don't listen to ICP because I'm not white trash, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't find the band, particularly their fans, wildly entertaining. Juggalos are the most unique people on earth. They're the perfect combination of high and stupid. Don't believe me? Watch this video of Kat Timpf at the Gathering of the Juggalos back in 2016...

Told you.

According to The Post, the reason the band is calling is quits is because Violent J has a heart condition. Here's what he had to say...

“For those of you that haven’t been to my house,” the clown-painted emcee said to the audience. “The studio is probably 40 yards from my front door. I noticed walking out to the studio every day, by the time I got to the f–king studio, I was winded. Then when I’d walk up to my mailbox, I’d be like, ‘Oh f—k, I’ve got to take a break.’ What the f–k’s the problem?” J added.

After suffering in silence for several weeks, the “Boogie Woogie Wu” rhymer went to the hospital for testing.

Doctors ultimately determined that he had severe atrial fibrillation —or AFib — which is a sustained cardiac arrhythmia that causes the upper chambers of the heart to beat at an extremely rapid and irregular pace.

Yikes. He also apparently had several surgeries to fix his heart and has to wait six years until he's "in the clear" whatever that means. All I know is it's the end of an era. They're still going to occasionally perform but it'll never be the same. Thoughts and prayers to all the Jugglos out there. Now take it away, J….
