There Are Few Things In Life More Fun Than Going To A Wrestling Show With Your Buddies
This past weekend, a bunch of us from Barstool got to attend Summerslam in Las Vegas thanks to the WWE - it was KFC, Feits, Caleb, Glenny, Brandon Walker, and myself (with Devlin, Cody, and Jackie on social content).
We did Friday Night Pints with Riddle/Sheamus, which was a blast, Brandon and I got in the ring during rehearsals the morning of the show and filmed some SWEET behind the scenes content you'll see very soon, and most importantly, we all got to watch the show from the SECOND ROW!
Brandon and I are super hardcore fans, obviously, but nobody else on this trip really was (save for KFC, who was very into the Attitude Era) - so the goal was to introduce them to this new world and show them how much fun it could be, and I think we did just that. Sitting there with Caleb, Feits, and Glenny and watching them watch Summerslam was one of my favorite experiences I've ever had at a wrestling show, because they were jaded to NONE of it. They were just in for the ride and ready to boo, cheer, chant, and pop when necessary. Moves that we see week in and week out were blowing their minds. It was awesome.
It was really a great reminder that nothing beats the thrill of live wrestling, and I can't wait to bring them back to a show soon.
