Giannis Antetokounmpo - MVP, NBA Champion.....And Now Milwaukee Brewers Owner!

I don't think anyone loves Milwaukee like Giannis loves Milwaukee. First he stayed loyal, won an MVP, signed to the Bucks long-term and then brought them a championship on the hardwood and now he's taking his talents to the diamond, well kind of. He's pulling a card out of the Patrick Mahomes' book of investing in the local baseball team by purchasing an ownership stake with the Brewers. Of course it's a small % but it's pretty cool that he wanted to be involved with the club and help bring home a championship too. This shows how invested he is in his city. It's not like he lives there during the season and then flies off to Miami or LA until the season starts, he is Milwaukee. I'm sure we'll see him pop up in an owners suite pounding hot dogs watching the Brewers down the stretch.

He's arguably the most liked NBA superstar in some time and now the Brewers get in on that action too. They have quite the likable duo with Giannis and Christian Yelich up there in Milwaukee. It sounds like he started taking interest in making this move a little over a year ago and the agreement came from MLB in early May, so it sounds like Giannis didn't even really think about leaving Milwaukee. Most likable player in the NBA and maybe the most liked owner in MLB now. Maybe we even start to get some Magic Johnson like tweets from him regarding the Brewers. He said he wasn't familiar with baseball before he came to the states, now he has an excuse to go to the games and get friendly with Yelich. Maybe eventually we can see a Giannis - Mahomes World Series? Talk about star power. Now we just have to teach him how to swing a bat....
