UNCLE STEVIE FROM THE MOTHERFUCKING CLOUDS!!!

All it took was 5 losses in a row along with a full season of the most frustrating offense in baseball for Bobby Axe to drop the proverbial digital axe on half the team. To be honest, I don't know if this is a shot fired at the "hitters" (heavyyyyy emphasis on the air quotes), the coaches, the front office in charge of the organizational approach, or all of the above. But everybody whose job includes putting the ball in play should have their asshole puckering up after that tweet because there are no fake hitting coaches or home run horses that are going to fix what's been going on at the plate for the Mets this year.

Anybody with half a brain knows the Mets bats have underperformed all season and all we could do is hope they would get better with health and time. Clearly that was not working and now the big dog is barking after he went all the way to that horrid city of Philadelphia to rally the boys only to watch them pull the same bullshit and come up woefully short on their way to getting swept by the Phillies. Now all the Mets trolls are eating good on the tears and unbridled rage of Mets fans every time the Amazins come up empty with runners in scoring position with less than two outs as they get their shit pushed in during the California Teams Gauntlet that seemed brutal even before the team morphed into total dogshit.

There will be plentyyyyyy of talk about what a 161 character tweet will do to the current Mets players and any future prospective players. But if you can't take a critical tweet from your boss or respond to that criticism by being better, you probably shouldn't be cashing a check from a professional baseball team in New York City.

The spinzone to this last week of hell is that Uncle Stevie found out what the class of baseball looks like up close and personal. If he's truly serious about winning a World Series in 3-5 years, he will do whatever it takes to hire the right people to fix not only the offense but any potential weakness in the franchise to end our championship drought that has gone on for far too long. I think I know just the guy.
