100% Real: James Harden Keeps Showing Up To Cowboys Camp Begging For Them To Sign Him, Jerry Jones Laughs In His Face

I'm not lying, this man's name is James Harden. Basically if Harden shaved his beard, shrunk a little and kept that one-time skinny frame. But here we have James Harden, an undrafted WR/RB showing up to the Cowboys camp begging for a shot. I don't hate the move. What do you have to lose? Well, apparently a little dignity because Jerry Jones hurt his feelings. (h/t JZ Media)

He says, “I was going to be there until I met Jerry Jones. I needed to talk to him and prove to him that I can play for his team.” Well, Harden met Jones and unfortunately for him an opportunity was not the result in the conversation. “He laughed at me.” Harden told Zlomislic, “He noticed me. I told him that I need a try out and that I am ready, but all he did was laugh and really that hurt me. I came to the stadium everyday with my sign (which read ‘What can U Lose, Just 1 shot’ with his name, phone number and positions played on it) and the fans were on my side. They wanted me to get a shot but Jerry Jones was laughing.”

Gotta be a brutal beat to get laughed at in your face. But I wouldn't expect anything else from Jerry Jones. You really think he's going to just say, yeah, okay. Only reason he would is he can make money on it I'm sure. That or draw a storyline for Hard Knocks. Now here's what I'll say about James Harden. He needs to go full Willie Mays Hayes and just crash the camp completely. 

Listen, we're all about unique ways to get noticed. We hear all different stories about how someone lands here or on a team. I'm just saying James Harden needs to switch it up. He's getting some fan traction on Twitter with people telling the Cowboys to give him a shot. Maybe just show up with real James Harden. I bet Jerry Jones wouldn't laugh in James Harden's face.
