Chris Bassitt Just Got DRILLED By A Comebacker And Was Immediately Rushed To The ER

Really, really scary situation here. This ball 100+ off the bat and there was blood EVERYWHERE after contact. 

He's getting rushed to the hospital now, but was at least awake while getting carted off. That's one of the worst comebackers you'll see all season. After he left the field, the grounds crew was still cleaning the blood out of the mound's dirt.

I'll update as more info comes in. Bassitt is a Stoolie too btw, which doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but we're all hoping for one of our own to be okay. Hopefully it's just a few stitches and he's good to go after missing minimal starts.
