I Can Confidently Say Monday Night RAW Is A Fucking Show And A Half

So last night Caleb and I went to pretty much our first WWE events in our lives. I believe he said he went to one way back in his day that wasn't even televised in North Carolina therefore this was our first official go-around. We were in beautiful San Antonio for a video shoot and figured it'd be a great time to hit Monday Night RAW. If we're being honest I've never gotten too much into the wrestling, but after last night that very much is going to change. All I gotta say is WHAT A FUCKING SHOW.

Going into my first one ever I had no idea what to expect. I literally texted Robbie earlier in the day asking if Caleb & I should get there for start time at 7pm CST wondering if there were random preliminary fights like at other fighting events to which he pretty much laughed at me. We were told 7pm was the time to arrive and arrive at 7pm we did. The night started off hot with 2 fellas named Riddle and AJ Styles going off for AGES on each other. After thinking about it I'm fairly confident this was easily the longest match of the night which resulted in one thing and one thing only- the WWE Ref is the hardest working man in show business.

That guy got down on all 4's with reflexes like a fucking puma countless times trying to slam his hand down to 3 only for a competitor get up on 2 constantly. It was impressive to see his grit & determination.

Next up we had what we would eventually figure out was a prelude to what was for my money the best match of the night in Rhea Riply vs. Nikki Ash. After that went down there was a few more matches and then some sort of interview show with the Miz where he wound up on his ass in a toddler pool in the ring. That was interesting, but it happened. Next up as an unbiased bystander we had what is now one of my favorite wrestlers make his appearance. This guy Sheamus rolled in with his hannibal lector mask & bane jacket like it was no ones business. Not to mention the Paisan dinner jacket with overalls as well. Simply a fit god. I look forward to watching him at Summer Slam. Best dressed and it ain't close.

Another huge moment which I may or may not have missed since I was upstairs getting a drink was 2 friends of the program in Randy Orton going against the Giant Omos who just made his Barstool Office Debut last week. That was so damn cool to see up close. Both of those fellas are one of a kind.

This led to Randy Orton announcing that #RKBro is back for Summer Slam with one of those fellas that fought earlier which I don't know much about yet all I know is I wouldn't wanna face a team called #RKBro in beer pong. Hopefully they dominate at Summer Slam.

Then eventually, for what Caleb and I both decided was EASILY the best match of the night, was the women's tag team match featuring former rivals mere hours earlier Nikki Ash & Rhea Rhipley vs. Charlotte Flair and Nia Jax. Nia Jax was BARE NONE the most electric brawler all night and there's nothing else you can do but respect Nikki Ash for taking a beating quite like she did last night. That one was super entertaining. If all wrestling matches were tag team duos I think the world would be a better place. Bravo!

That followed one of the highlights of the night in the man, the myth, the legend Goldberg finally coming out. I'm a huge Goldberg guy solely from his performance as Battle X in timeless classic Adam Sandler's The Longest Yard so I was excited to see him. What was even more exciting was that his son and his whole high school football team was sitting next to us before he pulled his son out of the crowd to walk off with him. Not to mention it was an eye-opening experience to see a high school team from Texas due to the fact that even the kicker could probably kick my ass & more than half of them will probably wind up playing for Coach Saban. Good for them.

The night eventually winded down with Me and Caleb potentially stopping at Taco Bell which will not confirm nor deny, though either it was one hell of a night. I can make a personal guarantee that that will not be my last WWE event in my lifetime. If were being frank that was just good down-home family fun. Loved every second of it.
