Hello, Virginia: Pardon My Take Grit Week Day 1 Recap

Grit Week 2021 is in full swing! After a 3:30 AM ET arrival in Ashburn, Virginia, Billy and I stayed onboard the Grit Week RV for some sleep to wrap up Day 0. In case you hadn't heard, the RV is Billy's permanent home during Grit Week, while I chose to knock out my punishment of one night on the RV after Hank and I got CRUSHED in the Bangin' Chains Challenge.

We began Day 1 with a 9:30 AM ET wakeup call. The bunk beds on the RV were actually very comfortable, as was Billy's big bed (all thanks to Mattress Firm). At around noon, the rest of the crew joined us on the RV and we made our way to the Buffalo Wing Factory in Ashburn, where Pardon My Take recurring guest Stanford Steve joined us for some Monday afternoon poultry. Everything was delicious, with the exception of what Billy had to endure in order to get on the Wall of Fame at the restaurant. More on that in a video coming soon, so stay tuned.

After lunch, it was time to knock out some interviews nearby. No spoilers, but there is no doubt that each guest demonstrates exactly what grit is supposed to mean. That would wrap up our duties in Virginia, and the next order of business was hopping on the RV and make our way to our next stop: Pittsburgh. During our ride, we threw on the premiere of the Bangin' Chains video on the Pardon My Take YouTube Channel. You can watch that below:

Today's schedule: Pittsburgh. Canton. Cleveland. Until tomorrow...
