The Weirdest Stoppage In Baseball History: An Umpire Got An Enormous Bug Stuck In His Ear

This video of the umpire has to be the strangest stoppage in MLB history! Or at least in my recent memory. When I watched this video, I thought alright maybe a small gnat or fly was caught in his ear. Then, this MASSIVE bug that's still alive gets plucked out.

Even NYY trainer Steve Donohue couldn't believe what he saw.

Since the massive fly was moving the entire time, the pictures don't do this justice. 

We've all had a bug fly into our face or mouth at some point in our lives. I don't know about you, but I NEVER expect to find something alive in my ear. What a bizarre sequence of events.

Will bugs/insects ever stop haunting the Yankees?
