Chris Mortensen Deleting His Original Deflategate Tweet Today Is Arguable The Softest Move In the History of Humans

UNBELIEVABLE.   Can you be any softer Mort?  Bro it’s too late. The damage is done.  The Fat Lady has sung.  You’ve already gone with the “I don’t know how to delete tweets” excuse.  There is absolutely nothing to gain deleting that tweet today after you already buried yourself yesterday.   All it does is prove what a spineless jellyfish you are.  You got to wear your mistake now.  You got to own it.  This routine of canceling on interviews and making up excuses is making you look like a total asshole.  Maybe Al Davis was right about you after all. Maybe you’re a professional liar.

Don’t you get it Mort?  You are playing right into the NFL’s hands again.  Deflategate isn’t about you.  It was never about you.  You were a patzy, a pawn, a pidgeon, a pushover.   But the more you refuse to take responsibility and bob and weave, the more people are going to hate you.  The more credibility you lose.  Don’t delete the tweet.   People should never delete tweets.  You fucked up.  Write an apology.  Say you were wrong. That you were used.  That you’re a feeble minded human.  That there was no excuse.  That you’re sorry.  Let the healing begin.  Don’t hide in caves and delete tweets 6 months after the fact and after everybody in the world is calling for your head.   #PrayforMort
