Philip Rivers Says He May Return To The NFL After High School Football Season Is Over If A Team Needs Him

In the words of Philip Rivers, GOSH DARNIT YES!!! The legacy of Philip Rivers will forever be those late comebacks that drew the entire country in that always seemed to end up juuuuuuuust short. So to see Rivers take the next step in his career by evolving and making those late comebacks late in the season before coming up short is so fucking perfect. 

You can't tell me the timing of this story is a coincidence either. This is the first time in Philip Rivers' entire life that he couldn't leave behind his kids for training camp. He probably got a glimpse of what life would be like with 9 kids in various stages of school and said fuck this. Coaching will get him through the meat of the fall but the thought of dealing with almost double digit children right as the holidays roll around was simply too much to bear.
