John Cena Returned To A MONSTROUS Pop At WWE Money In The Bank Last Night

JOHN CENA IS BACK, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! AND HE'S COMIN FOR ROMAN REIGNS!

We haven't seen Cena in a WWE ring since The Fiend sent him to a different dimension in their 'Firefly Fun House' match at WrestleMania 36....

….and he hasn't been in front of a crowd in even longer - building himself a career in Hollywood in the meantime - but the reaction to his music hitting last night made alllllll that time away worth it real quick.

It legitimately mighta been the biggest reaction he ever got (counting the Royal Rumble in 2008) and Big Match John was thrilled to see a crowd on his side for once….

I'd have to imagine John Cena vs Roman Reigns will now headline Summerslam at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas next month, as it has been rumored for weeks, and who knows - maybe they put that strap on Cena one more time so he could bring it with him when he's promoting 'The Suicide Squad'! After all, that WAS the plan for Batista with the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' promotional tour before Daniel Bryan became the most over guy since Austin.

Regardless, I'm really excited about Cena's return here. Few in wrestling history have ever delivered (on the mic AND in the ring) as much as he has, whether people admit it or not at this point, and Roman is doing the best work of his career right now. 

Toss these rabid crowds in the mix, and this one will truly carry that big match feel. Can't wait.
