The 1968 Ford Mustang GT Is The Coolest Movie Car

On yesterday's episode of LCB, we reviewed F9, talked news/trailers, and drafted the best cars from TV/Movies. Normally, I have a strict strategy behind drafting so that I win the social media war. This time, however, I had to draft with my heart. One of the many Steve McQueen movies my old man made me watch on repeat was the 1968 BANGER of a crime-action movie, BULLITT. For those of you who aren't familiar, it follows SFPD Lt. Frank Bullitt as he battles mob hitmen all over San Fran. It features one of the most BADASS car chases of all time, which you can watch here.

This car just the fucking coolest. The design, the color, all of it. It doesn't have the noteriety of some other famous movie cars like the DeLorean and whatnot, but its fucking rad and idc if it tanks my position.

For what it's worth, I think my other picks were solid from a mainstream perspective. The Jurassic Park jeeps are cool as all hell, and the Shaguar has a deep spot in my nostalgia brain. The Mad Max Interceptors might be more of a vanity pick, but like the GT, they are simply cool as all hell.

I rounded out with the stately mini coopers which got maybe their only positive PR in HISTORY during the Italian Job. I've never wanted one in my life outside of the 30 minute refractory period after watching/rewatching that movie.
