Fuck It, Let's Get Nuts - The Harlem Globetrotters Are Trying To Convince The NBA To Let Them Join The League As The Next Franchise

Sure, why not? I actually want to see this happen strictly to see how the Harlem Globetrotters operate trying to play real basketball. No more gimmicks, no more pranks and no more being gifted wins over the Generals. Let's see them actually operate as a NBA franchise and try to make signings and executive decisions. That said, they'd already be No. 1 in jersey power rankings. Still fire.

So if we're talking about expansion teams, the Seattle Globetrotters are high on the list. Actually, Vegas would make the most sense. You can picture it now. Playing on the strip with everything Vegas offers. Hell there was a time when the Globetrotters were the biggest name in basketball. Granted, we're talking decades upon decades, but bring them to the big stage. It's time. 

The more I sit here and think how insane it is, the more I want it to happen. An expansion draft with them picking real players and not like The Pope or all the other celebrities they've picked to be honorary members. Snatching like Alex Caruso away from the Lakers would be high comedy. First they have the jerseys then they have the song then they get the NBA.
