Robin Lehner Showed Up To The Rink 4 Hours Early Before Game 4 Just To Read Everybody Talking Shit About Him On Twitter

You can't go down 3-1 against the Habs with the way this team is playing right now and realistically give yourselves a chance at coming back in that series. So with Vegas down 2-1 in the series and desperately needing to tie it up before leaving Montreal, Lehner got the call to hop in net for Fleury. And naturally people were going to be a little taken aback by that decision. Sure, Fleury made a few costly mistakes in game 3 but you'd figure they'd let him work it out on his own in game 4. Needless to say, there were plenty of takes on Twitter [dot] com. And Robin Lehner read alllllllllll of them.

Turns out that Twitter is actually good. I mean it's good for all the wrong reasons, and by and large it's mostly a total hellscape of an app. But the ol' blue bird turned out to be the 2nd star in game 4 last night right behind Robin Lehner and his 27-save performance in the Golden Knights' 2-1 overtime win.
I just wish we had video of Lehner scrolling through all the replies on this tweet.

I need to know how many drafts he has in the unsent folder right now just dying to tee off of some of these clowns. I wish how many passive aggressive likes he threw out there for a quick second but then quickly took them back. I need to know approximately how many times he threw his phone at the wall in anger and disgust. You've gotta be one sick puppy to put yourself through 2 full hours of non-stop doom scrolling. But apparently it worked. Because aside from a filthy top bunk finish from Paul Byron, Montreal had nothing for Robin Lehner. So if you're a Vegas fan or you just have money on Vegas in this series, I suggest you spend the rest of your day making burner accounts just to unload all the shit in the world on @robinlehner. Couple shutouts to close the series are depending on those tweets.
