I Don't Know Who Won Our Mark Wahlberg Draft, But The Audience Definitly Lost
Here is the thing about the audience's draft, which came courtesy of Audience Czar @Chodes10: Lone Survivor is simply not #3 overall material. Not with The Departed, The Fighter, and Boogie Nights still on the board. You just can't! They had some redemption in getting The Fighter with their second pick, but they left the draft with only 1 S-Tier pick. I have two with the Departed and Boogie Nights, Jeff has two in The Other Guys and Three Kings, Trill stole entourage and a sneaky great heist movie with the Italian Job. But the audience just didn't have it today.
Now, that doesn't mean I didn't watch Four Brothers a thousand times on FX growing up and that I don't fuck with Lone Survivor. As a long island guy, Michael Murphy is a big source of pride! But the value just isn't here for the audience today.
