Tonight's UFC Card Looks Fucking Phenomenal

AUTHOR'S NOTE: I originally published this blog on Tuesday but thought it'd serve as a decent reminder to anyone who might've missed it, so I'm giving it the Saturday bump. Tune into our livestream tonight at 8pm if you want to watch the fights with us!

Just wanna give everybody an early 'FIGHT WEEK' heads up that Saturday night looks to be a PHENOMENAL one for UFC fans….

We've got a pair of title fights in the main/co-main event of UFC 263 - Israel Adesanya vs Marvin Vettori II headlining the event, and Deiveson Figueiredo vs Brandon Moreno II right under it - which both have grrrreat potential.

Figueiredo/Moreno I went to a majority draw and was arguably 2020's fight of the year….

….and now we get to see them run it back in front of a sold out crowd instead of the UFC Apex.

Stylebender is looking to bounce back after taking his first ever loss in the UFC, which came at the hands of Jan Blachowicz back in March when Izzy jumped up to Light Heavyweight….

….and Marvin Vettori, Stylebender's opponent, took Izzy to a split decision in his second UFC fight ever (which Adesanya won), and is looking to become Italy's first UFC Champion ever. There's some real bad blood between these guys, as well….

We also have a FIVE ROUND FIGHT between Nate Diaz and Leon Edwards that isn't for a title or anything - Nate/Leon just wanted five rounds and they gave it to em! It may be the first time in UFC history a non-main event/non-title fight is scheduled for five, to be honest!

Diaz walking out with a full arena is as hype as it gets, with everyone in the crowd immediately blazing up….

UFC legend Demian "The Human Cellophane" Maia will be on the card as well, looking to stick himself onto Belal Muhammed's back for a quick submission win while Belal tries to get back on track himself, and hopefully a couple friends of the program in Jamahal Hill and Matt "The Steamrolla" Frevola are gonna take home some W's for us….

Frevola's opponent, Frank Camacho, unfortunately pulled out of the fight today after getting into a car crash (which is starting to make me think the Steamrolla Curseolla is real)….

….but Terrance McKinney stepped up and Frevola accepted the new matchup seemingly immediately - like he always does. He's a warrior.

We're gonna try to put together some kinda watchalong for this pay-per-view, because I think that would be a blast, so stay tuned for details on that, and startin gettin excited!
