Michigan Has Hung A "What Are YOU Doing To Beat Ohio State Today?" Sign In Their Weight Room

Lmao.

Correction: Lmfao.

Is this real? I had to do some in-depth research to make sure because this is absolutely hilarious. This is like a PFT tweet on Sunday morning asking people, "How are YOU getting ready for NFL Sunday?" except it's not satire. It's completely serious. And it is real. Jim Harbaugh wants his team thinking about Ohio State literally every single day. A sign in the weight room? This is like hanging up a picture of your ex-girlfriend on your mirror as you train to prove her wrong. Next thing you know, you're going to see a picture of Chris Olave hanging in the Michigan weight room as they prepare to stop him this year. The only question is which one of his touchdowns against them would they choose?

I know Michigan is known for being a university full of scholars, so I'd love to hear some of their answers to this question that Coach Harbaugh posed. Because in my eyes, there's only one thing that Michigan players can do right now to beat Ohio State and that's enter the transfer portal and hope that either Alabama or Clemson needs a practice squad player. I don't see Ohio State losing to anyone else for perhaps the next two decades. However, if the question were worded a little differently, it would open up another answer as well. If Harbaugh asked, "What are YOU doing to not lose to Ohio State today?", they could reply "using covid as an excuse" like they did this year.

And yes, people below might point out that Ohio State practiced with the score of the Clemson/refs game from two years ago all last season, but my counter to that is that beating Clemson this year was an attainable (seeing as we did it) goal. Michigan needs to focus on something small like getting 1% better each day or beating Michigan State, because it's been…….3,482 days…..since they last beat the Buckeyes. And the oddsmakers down at the Barstool Sportsbook don't seem to think it's going to happen this year either.

11 to 1 to win the Big Ten? Sandwiched in-between Wisconsin and Iowa. Sounds about right. Those are the teams they should be focusing on, not the Buckeyes. But I get it. They're trying to take the rivalry seriously now. They didn't do it for the last decade, and now they're trying to start. It's a little too late though, I'd say. I wonder what the line is going to be for The Game this year (pending Michigan being able to get their covid issues under control). Ohio State -15? I think I'd hammer anything up to 30.
