I don't care how old you are, this is a dream. Anytime you get seats in the outfield, you show up to the ballpark with at least the thought that somebody is going to launch a homer in your direction and you just may be lucky enough to come up with the baseball.

I don't know exactly how old this fella here is, but after having that thought for several decades, it finally happened. And he is LOVING it. No matter your age, catching a home run — let alone one from a guy like Ronald Acuña — is the coolest thing that can happen to you in any sports stadium. I can only imagine the rush that provides.

Also, I'm generally of the opinion that people film stuff with their phones way too much these days instead of just enjoying what's in front of them — I understand this is a boomer take and I do not care — but the luck of the draw to happen to be filming an at-bat when a ball gets launched right at you and your dad catches it is pretty damn cool. There aren't many family videos that are gonna compete with that one.

And as excited as this guy was to catch the ball, he still turned around and gave it to a little kid. What a winner.
