Bengals Tight End Talks About His Vision Of Joe Burrow Drunk As Shit Celebrating A Super Bowl Title ... Forgets He Plays For, You Know, The Bengals

Joe Burrow being shit faced for a Super Bowl title would be great content. On one hand I would like that because, well, pageviews. That's the game here. On the other hand it just won't happen. We're talking about the Bengals. There are certain franchises that just can't win. The Kings, the Lions, the Bengals, the Angels, etc. The Bengals fall in that category. That's what happens when you don't win a playoff game since 1990. 

I get what CJ Uzomah is doing here. Of course you should have confidence. Of course you should say you have dreams of winning a title. I won't knock a player for that because he was somehow probably asked about it. It's not even like he guaranteed a title like some will do. But I hate to be the one in this city (not a Bengals fan, not from here originally) to break it to him. It ain't happening. Joe Burrow is awesome. First team all-cool even. You're not winning a Super Bowl. The world won't let that happen. I don't care that Burrow would be a popular pick to get drunk with. Would love to go back to Athens hit up Court Street and places like CI, drink some Junction Punch and PawPurr's. That'll have to be a celebration for a winning record because that's the peak the Bengals will have as a franchise. And if CJ really wants to see a dude in Ohio get really drunk, well, I'll just meet you at Holy Grail. 

I just can't get enough of the Bengals. I don’t even really hate them, they are like a puppy that keeps screwing up. You can’t get mad at them. Sure, their fans are typically annoying as hell and I have no ties to the team, but as a Giants fan it’s sort of hard to truly hate the Bengals. That’s the joy of living here though. You get to watch this city burn with each comment, move and mistake the team makes. Now they are getting a little bit of hope because Burrow is legit, Higgins is fucking good, Ja'Marr Chase is going to be good. What can go wrong?
