After Taking This Scary Foul Ball Off The Head And Getting Right Back Up I Think This Kid is Indestructible

Beautiful weather in Florida today. Memorial Day Weekend, let's head to the park and watch some SEC baseball to start a fine Saturday. Check out the nice little grassy area down the left field line where people are having a catch and being humans again. The world is back baby. Next thing you know you're staring into the distance, taking in the moment and here comes a blistering foul ball sniped directly at your skull. Ouch town, population you bro. Rule number one of going to a baseball game: gotta keep your head on a swivel. Couldn't have been more in the face even if you shot it at him with a sniper, good god. 

Three things that stood out to me from this: 1) Incredible body collapse. All time body collapse. The impact of that baseball delivered the same force a nearby car explosion would, taking this fella completely off his feet. We can laugh about this since he's okay. 2) the distance that ball traveled after the dome shot was remarkable. Did that land back in play? Thing flew a good 50 feet afterwards, my goodness. 3) The kid immediately hopping back on his feet was simply remarkable. In pain and shock for sure, but he wasn't about to make a scene out of it. What a champ. If that's LeBron he gets carted off, retires on the spot and sues the sport. Seems like the little man is doing fine thankfully. Study his body for science. If this tweet below is true and he was actually hit by two balls today I think you gotta rethink coming to games just based on bad luck. 

Need Mintzy out there teaching the kids how to protect themselves. Maybe have him as some sort of life guard during the CWS. 

P.S. After watching the Yankees these last two nights I wish I was this kid today.
