Guy Gets Decked Off His Scooter By Massachusetts State Police After Leading Them On A WILD Chase Down The Wrong Side Of The Highway

Source - A wrong-way moped rider was taken into custody Thursday after a pursuit with state police.The man led state police on a pursuit that started at about 10 a.m. in Danvers, onto Interstate 95, then onto Interstate 93.

At some points, he was going the wrong way in traffic.State police said troopers tried to stay behind him and prevent him from harming himself or others. No injuries were reported.

The rider was stopped and taken into custody in the area of Mystic Avenue in Medford Square.

Ahhh yes, Medford, MA. It feels the North Shore, but it's not. It's just got all the same qualities- way too many DPW workers, endless construction, and morbidly obese drunk men trying to outrun the police mid-day on scooters. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm saying that's what it is. Personally, I like Medford. My brother and I used to get lunch there at a bar (name redacted) where we would routinely see altercations at the scratch ticket machine. It was wildly entertaining but kind of sad. Regardless, that's what comes to mind when I think of Medford and after seeing this picture it all make sense...

Just an absolute pig. Having said that, I've never seen a big man operate a motor vehicle as effectively as him. He was weaving in and out of state troopers like he was playing Grand Theft Auto. At one point he actually sneaks by five officers and four cars at the same time…

Unfortunately for him, all good things must come to an end and he'll most likely do a decade in prison. Hope it was worth it! I'll follow up on this this story if anything else comes up, but chances are this is the end of it. Have a great afternoon.
