If You Haven't Heard, Slam Diego Is Back In A Big Way And They Have A Huge Spinning Necklace

Folks, if you missed it this weekend, Slam Diego is officially back. We had Fernando Tatis Jr. and company go 9-0 on their homestead before dropping one to the Brewers last night but the Padres are buzzing. 9-1 in their last 10 and they find themselves a half game up on the Dodgers in the division. But more importantly, they've got a big fucking spinning necklace that they're giving out now, and it's awesome. This thing is MASSIVE too. Manny Machado gave it to Austin Nola after his good game the other night, but we really saw it in it's glory after Tatis Jr's grand slam on Sunday.

SPIN IT BABY!!!!! We saw the White Sox break out a similar necklace last year I think, but this is what we need more of in baseball. I need spinning chains in every dugout, except maybe the Orioles. It was based off the turnover chain from The U, but I think this one is better than the original. Manny Machado was in charge of getting the 6.5 pound necklace and boy did he deliver. Gotta be a good feeling when you get that thing thrown on you. Has to be a good bonding piece too. You could tell the guys love it, it keeps them loose, lets them have fun, and when you're 9-1 in your last 10 and have Tatis Jr hitting BOMBS you can spin it as long as you want. Now I just need to know the cost and I want to see that bad boy spinning all season. Best piece of dugout jewelry you'll see.
