Day 1 of The Let Them Play Classic Is Officially In The Books

And that's a wrap on day 1. Yesterday was the first day of the very first Let Them Play Classic featuring the women who qualified in the NCAA's regionals, but got cancelled on due to some rain...

A week ago today this Classic didn't even exist and now, literally 1 week later, it's a full on women's college tournament complete with the teams, their coaches, tournament swag, and an even approval from the NCAA to put this thing on. This whole day was such a huge testament to who Barstool actually is. Coming off of a year of not playing from the pandemic, then seeing their finals be taken away another year due to a confusing analysis of the course from the NCAA, we knew that these women deserved better, so we gave them better.

Closing in on day 1, North Texas is coming out with a SOLID lead of 10 under par, & our second place, Houston, follows by 3 under. These girls came to PLAY. As soon as we got teed off, we saw how serious they were. Throughout the day, fans came & went to watch and local news stations came out to cover the event.

To be honest, it was a huge day for women's golf. This sport and these women deserve more exposure and we were so happy today to be right there with them. Their passion, abilities, and talent to play this sports is unreal, and we're just getting started. This is NOT the last Let Them Play Classic. And who knows where we'll go with this thing? Let Them Play Golf/Hockey?/Basketball?/Soccer?/Lacrosse? Who knows where we can take it, but we know it won't stop here.

You can follow along for day 2, on the Token CEO IG & Twitter, as well as VivaLaStool, Foreplay, & Riggs on Twitter.
