How The Hell Have The Knicks Not Given Cody Court Side Tickets To Game 1 Yet?

First off, let me preface this by saying that I completely understand how the Knicks could botch such a layup PR move considering everything the Knicks PR team has done over the last, ohhhhh, 20 or so years under James Dolan from angry emails to fans to kicking out Knicks icons from The Garden to pretty much the entire Isiah Thomas Era.

That being said, now that the schedule is out, we know the Knicks are playing Game 1 on Sunday at 7 PM, and a whole bunch of tickets were sold yesterday, you gotta do whatever is necessary to get Cody court side at The Garden for tipoff. Help him with his homework, offer to walk his dog, get a stretch limo to and from MSG. Whatever it takes. 

Not just because Cody has become the face of suffering Knicks fans over the years or that it's the right thing to do. But also because it is an UNREAL juju play. The Knicks already have the Hawks kryptonite in Julius Randle, who has put up a cool 37/12/6 on 58% shooting (including 50% from three) on Atlanta this season annd you knowwwwww Thibs has been grinding away in some dungeon deep below MSG and Penn Station this entire week figuring out how to erase Trae Young from existence (Hint: Play Elfrid Payton as little as possible).

This is still the playoffs though where no stone should go unturned and it's all hands on deck. You can only rely on the young'ns like RJ and IQ to come through so much their first time in the postseason. Which is why you need to get Cody not only in the building but front row, center court, and so close he can trip Trae Young (which he should). He is the new face of Knicks fans emerging from the dark days almost two centuries later like all those cicadas we are reading about. Not Spike or Woody. But Cody. Do the right thing for ONCE, Jimmy Kazoo!
