It's So Awesome To See Trey Mancini Leading MLB In RBIs

Have a night Trey Mancini. Despite the Orioles having a 5-0 lead against the Rays with their ace on the mound and eventually blowing the game, Trey Mancini continued his monster season. You know the story about Trey and the Stage 3 Colon Cancer that wiped away his entire 2020 season and had him questioning if he'd ever play baseball again, we can put that in the past. Now the only question is will he drive in 125 or 130 runs this year? He's on an absolute tear in the month of May and isn't showing any signs of slowing down. Mancini leads all of baseball in RBIs with 38 after his performance last night. He had a solo shot in the bottom of the first to start it all off, a bomb into the Orioles bullpen.

Bottom 2 he comes up with ducks on the pond and laces a double into the corner. All 3 runners come into score and before you can even finish your hot dog Trey had driven in 4 and retaken the lead for RBIs in baseball.

He wanted another taste and decided to double dip in the HR category. This one was hit a longggggg way out to center field. He added another hit later and would finish 4/5 with 2 homers and 5 RBIs bringing his season total to 9 bombs and 38 driven in. Your RBI leader in baseball was had a port in his chest at this time last year and was battling cancer, today he's leading baseball in runs driven in. It's not like it's April 3rd and he's leading baseball with 5 RBIs or something, we're almost at the end of the May and he is driving them in better than anyone. 21 of those 38 RBIs have come in the month of May, and he's got RBIs in 5 straight games for the Os. Trey is smoking the ball right now and is about the only thing outside of John Means that the Orioles have going for them. This awesome comeback story keeps getting better and better for #16.
