Marinating Chicken Is The Most Mature I've Felt In Years
The tweet says it all. I think anyone that knows me knows I'm not the most mature person out there. My mom still does my laundry (I live at home), I'm a college dropout, and I've never even had my own car at the elderly age of 24 years old. But there's ONE THING in life that makes me feel mature & I've learned as of late that it's marinating my chicken before I cook it.
Now before quarantine I was pretty much just a fried chicken cutlet guy, though since that have happened I've attempted to make my body a temple Monday-Thursday afternoon which means a lot of grilled chicken. Combine that with my now-constant watching of the Food Network you get inspired to marinate your chicken before ya grill it and that just makes me feel as mature as a Ivy League Professor.
The one I've been doing absolutely fucks and I'm very proud of it. Does it sound kinda gross? Sure. Does it taste? The answer is yes. It's a little olive oil, worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, old bay hot sauce, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin, chipotle powder, and a whole bunch of cayenne because this guy LOVES some spice. I'm grillIing up thighs tonight & cannot wait to throw this bad boy on 'em again. Pics to follow later on...I'm gonna feel like a senior citizen by the time the Summer's over.
