Nick Castellanos And The Fan He Fist Bumped During The Game Give The Postgame Interview Of The Year

Nick Castellanos is a man of the people, he socks dingers and gives us what we want. Castellanos also likes to listen to the fans, so last night when he hit a homer in Colorado when he finished rounding the bases he gave this fan a fist bump. Didn't know if it was a buddy or if he was just being friendly, but it turns out to be a fantastic story that will probably get Castellanos suspended.

After the game the Reds broadcast crew had to get to the bottom of the fist bump and figure out what that was all about. They asked Nick and he said the fan was right next to him and he could tell the audience for himself. So they put this guy on live TV and he proceeds to tell everyone in the Cincinnati area that he told Castellanos to pretend that Rob Manfred's face was on the baseball. The old little league trick, pretend someone you hates face is on the ball and hit it. Next pitch, bomb squad and that is when the fist bump came. This guy is going on with this story and Nick knew he couldn't say anything, just stood there with his arms crossed. Nick posing as the guy is telling the story was hilarious because he didn't want to be the one to say why he hit that baseball out because it would probably be a 20 game suspension from Manfred, but Robby can't suspend the fan! Pretty funny scene here, Castellanos just handing the headset to a stranger, him posing while the guy was telling the story, it was all perfect. An awesome interview by Nick and the guy who hates Rob Manfred.
