Kevin Durant Has Invested In Shohei Ohtani

Aside from being one of the best scorers in the NBA, Kevin Durant has really established himself an an investor over the years. He's invested in Acorns, Postmates, Robinhood, and Whoop, just to name a few. Now, he's investing in Shohei Ohtani (virtually, in MLB the Show - this counts, right?).

For those that don't know, KD is a big time gamer. He's an investor in NYSL, which is a New York based Competitive Call of Duty Team owned by Andbox, and he has a full gaming/streaming setup.

I mean this setup is legit. My only question - is there enough leg room for KD here? He's 6'10" so leg room is always an issue I would imagine. Us short kings don't have to worry about that problem - thank god.

The interaction at the top of the blog is really cool to see. Not only is KD taking interest in the MLB, but he's immediately thinking about improving his Diamond Dynasty Team (MLB the Show's Ultimate Team) and adding Ohtani to the squad.

Also, how is Shohei not talked about more!? As KD said, the man is a different breed! We've never seen anything like this before and he's making history as a pitcher and a position player. But, I digress...

At the end of the day, it's pretty interesting to see elite level pro-athletes talking about each other in a gaming sense. I would how good KD's team is....
