University Of Nevada's Tyler Bosetti Set A New NCAA Record With A Home Run In 9 Straight Games
Tyler Bossetti is addicted to hitting bombs. It's becoming a problem. The University of Nevada infielder set the all time NCAA record for consecutive games with a bomb with 9. He's also hit 10 homers in those 9 games. The previous record was held by Georgia Tech's Andy Bruce and Duke's Ryan Jackson. 9 games in a row is insane. Like 90% of MLB players can't put together a 9 game hit streak, let alone a 9 game HR streak. April 25th is when the streak started and he hasn't stopped hitting bombs since then. This would have been an MLB record too, Griffey Jr. has the record with 8 in the bigs.
Bossetti didn't even hit a home run in his first 20 games of the season and now has 11 in his last 15, and 10 bombs in his last 9 games. That is what it's like to be dialed in. And he's doing it at the D1 level, it's not like he's paying Northern Alabama Tech or something, he set the record against Arizona State. An unreal dong performance like we've never seen at any level, idc if it's The Show, tee ball, Wiffleball, wood bat, softball, doesn't matter. 9 games in a row with a homer is insane. Now I'm going to have to keep track of Nevada baseball just to see if this record streak continues. I hope he hits a billion homers to finish the year.
