Brad Marchand set up Patrice Bergeron who opened the scoring. 1-0 Bruins.

Late in the 1st Charlie McAvoy blasted home a PPG. 2-0 Bruins.

News, notes, and quotes:

- Charlie Coyle suffered a LBI vs. NJD on Tuesday night and is day to day, did not play tonight. Jake DeBrusk skated in his place on the 3rd line.

- Patrice Bergeron opened the scoring, his 22nd goal of the year.

- Probably the best performance of the season we've seen from Jake DeBrusk tonight. He drew 2 penalties, broke through with a breakaway goal of his own. Looked real good tonight. He had a subtle celly but man that had to feel good.

- Charlie McAvoy broke through as well after going 16 games without a goal. Brandon Carlo got on the scoresheet as well.

- Jeremy Swayman got the start tonight. Pretty easy night for No. 1, earned his 2nd career shut out by making 15 saves. Not sure if he even broke a sweat tonight.

Tuukka Rask in net on Saturday afternoon. Then I'm sure it'll be Halak/Swayman for the last two games.
