Joe Douglas Completely Revamped The Jets Offense Over The Past 24 Hours

Last night it was Zach Wilson with the #2 pick. Everybody knew it was coming. There were more questions surrounding their pick later in the 1st round than at #2. Zach Wilson is the future of the New York Jets franchise and Joe Douglas' career in football.

Later in the 1st round, Joe Douglas moved up to take Alijah Vera-Tucker from USC. He will presumably start to the opposite side of last year's 1st round draft pick LT Mekhi Becton. Next up was pick #33 in the 2nd round and who did Joe Douglas pick? Elijah Moore from Ole Miss. He will start at WR alongside last year's 2nd round draft pick Denzel Mims.

The Elijah Moore draft pick is phenomenal. The man may just be 5'8, but he is a human highlight machine:

What he did at Ole Miss this year with average QB play was nothing shot of phenomenal. 86 receptions, 1200 yards, 8 TDs. He now comes to New York with Mormon Jesus ready to hopefully build the Jets back into contenders.

As a Jets fan, this is the most (cautiously) optimistic I have been in years. Excited to cheer for the Green & White.....for now.
