After Going To The Tape One Thing Is Clear - The 49ers 100% Took The Wrong Quarterback At No. 3 Last Night
One of the biggest things yesterday was what were the 49ers going to do at 3. It seemed at one point like it was Mac Jones. At another point it seemed like maybe Aaron Rodgers is going to end up in San Francisco. Then it seemed like a lock for Trey Lance, which it ended up being. I'm here to tell you it was wrong. I went to the tape and they clearly passed on Katie Williams, who is ready to suit up for the Niners.
Look at that form! She's even got WR1 available who lacks some great route running. On second though maybe he's just there for pass protection. Can't blame the dog though. I will never blame a dog. I get the knock on Lance. He was in a run-heavy offense and only played a limited amount of games. That's why Katie Williams deserves a look. She threw a few less passes than Lance. She's clearly a die-hard Niners fan
