Bo Bichette Hit A Home Run Completely Out Of Fenway Park And It Landed In Front Of The Exact Building That His Dad Met His Mother

What a crazy story we have here. As you know, Bo Bichette is one of the Baby Jays with a very bright future. He takes after his pops, Dante Bichette who played for a handful of teams in the late '80s and '90s. Angels, Brewers, Rockies, Reds, Red Sox. Damn good player who had some really good seasons at the plate. Nice of Dante to pass the lettuce genes onto Bo too. He also passed on the power genes, because boy oh boy can Bo hit a baseball.

So Tuesday night Bichette sends a ball wayyyyy out of Fenway. Completely clears the Monster and the seats and the ball leaves the park. It's not too uncommon for that to happen, we're good for a few Monster clearers every year. But the real strange thing about this home run is that it landed directly in front of a building on Lansdowne Street that used to house a gym in the 1990s. It's that very gym where Dante Bichette met his future wife and Bo's mom, Mariana, while he was a member of the Brewers. It was her very first day working at the gym and Bo was the first person to walk in that day. He gave her and her manager tickets, they went to the game, and eventually met up at a bar after the game. Rest is history. This whole story is about coincidence. I mean what are the chances of that happening, not only him hitting a ball out of the park, but having it land right in front of the place his parents met? The gym isn't there anymore but it's crazy that she worked in that very building and 30 years later she'd have a son hitting balls to her former place of work.

Pretty cool story for the Bichette family, bet he'll want to hang onto that baseball. Would make for a perfect wedding anniversary gift. That one is free, next one will cost you, Bo.
