You Know A Shot To The Nuts Is Extra Brutal When The Gloves Immediately Get The Eject Button

Contrary to popular belief, I'm not a doctor. In fact, I never even considered going to medical school. So while this theory may not be rooted in "science" or "data", I'm willing to believe that it is still heavily rooted in straight facts.

How hard someone gets drilled in the sack is directly correlated to how quickly and how hard that person then proceeds to smash the eject button on their gloves. If the gloves stay on? Just shake it off. Give yourself a tug and get back out there. But the moment the gloves come off, you know you're not walking right for the next 2-4 weeks.

So let's get a quick diagnosis on this one right here.

First off, we have direct impact. Buddy didn't even get a chance to turn to minimize the damage here. Just took that one square as 22 was able to crow hop with nobody on him for a good, hard, overhand release. That thing was moving, no doubt about it. We've got the initial collapse that happens like a sack of bricks. And then once we get the barrel roll to the fetal position, that gloves come flying across the crease.

The one saving grace here is at least 22 didn't score on the rebound while he was still rolling around on the ground trying to figure out if he'll ever have kids now or not. That would have been a brutal insult to injury. But still, let this be a lesson to all you fellas out there--either wear a cup or immediately duck for cover the moment anybody within 20 yards loads up to shoot near you. It's just not worth the pain. Let your goalie get hit with that shit. He signed up to play that position anyway.
