What a beast. Now that that's over, I think I speak for everyone when I say I remember the events of that week perfectly. The explosions, the hunt, the police scanners- all of it. It was a dark time in Boston history. People didn't know how to actor what to do after it was over, which is why when Ortiz gave that speech the entire city breathed a collective sigh of relief. It was both a rally cry and a permission to heal. I still can't belive it's been eight years since those events took place. Crazy. Thoughts and prayers to the victims and rest in peace to those we lost. Never forget.
