It's A Damn Shame We Don't Get To Watch Dodgers - Padres On Sunday Night Baseball Tonight Because I Want To See Mookie Betts Make More Catches Like He Did Last Night

Dodgers - Padres has lived up to everything we thought it would be, from the back and forth slobberknocker on Friday night, the low scoring game on Saturday with benches clearing and players yelling at each other. It's been fantastic. So naturally with another huge pitching matchup today with Blake Snell vs Trevor Bauer it could be a very interesting game. Who knows what Bauer is going to do up there, guy is a wildcard and marches to the beat of his own drum. I want him under the bright lights on the big network so we can see his weirdness in full affect. This series has been so good, but it's also shown how good the Dodgers are. Padres were the hot pick in the offseason and have done everything they could to win this weekend, but the Dodgers just find a way, Padres can't get overtop of them in the series. I also want to see Mookie Betters more highlight catches like the one above.

2 out in the ninth with the tying run on second and he makes THIS walk off play? Unreal. That ball gets by him it's a tie game with the winning run on second. He plays it perfectly, reels it in and ends the game himself. That ball looked like it wanted to come out of the glove too, but Mookie does what Mookie does best, make unreal game changing plays. Padres fans in disbelief, Mookie pumping his chest, what a scene to end game 2. 10% catch probability but of course the Mook man makes it. He truly is unbelievable and I'm very happy the Red Sox needed the financial flexibility and decided to move him.

No offense to Braves - Cubs, you're both fun to watch I guess. But come on, give us the third installment of Padres - Dodgers on Sunday Night Baseball. I know we get them next week, but it won't be this awesome pitching matchup. I wish Manfred and the suits had the balls to flex a game because he should have done it for this weekend, just give us all the big games on prime time TV.

BTW has to sting for Boston fans listening to Orsillo call it with Mookie making the catch.
