The Padres and Dodgers Actually Hating Each Other Is So Good For Baseball

For the second day in a row we've got some drama between the Dodgers and Padres. Last night we had some yelling after a HBP late in the game. 

Tonight, Jurickson Profar was awarded first base for this preposterous catcher's interference. 

I mean why don't you just turn around after the pitch and chop at the catcher's glove while you're at it. He basically did that, not even an exaggeration. That was SOOOOO late how on Earth do you call that? They actually went to replay and still awarded Profar the base even though that's not the point of the rule. Kershaw obviously wasn't happy and jawed at Profar  Kershaw yelled "that's a bullshit swing" and Profar told him to "shut the fuck up."

Later we got a bases loaded walk on an 8 pitch at bat by Kershaw against Darvish. 

These two games have had such a playoff atmosphere, with Padres fans actually dominating the noise for the first time in a while. Baseball needs this so bad. It's very clear these two clubs aren't fond of one another and it's awesome. Loads of talent on both sides with some bad blood. Feed me this all season long and into the playoffs. 

P.S. Why are you not going heater to the pitcher with a full count?
