What a wonderful way to start off the week. Seriously. Something about watching those kids burn that campus to the ground puts a smile on my face. Maybe it's because I was one of those kids once (shout out class of 2011), but I'm not exactly sure. It's like the mid-2000s all over again. You can read about UMass hockey's journey to a national championship HERE, but this story is bigger than that- it's about a return to normalcy. A normalcy where students aren't afraid to get out there and rip it up after a big win. Celebrate when they see fit. Cause a little god-damn trouble for the sake of causing trouble. And as a former UMass student I can confidently say that no group of people knows how to do that more than the Minute Men and Woman of UMass. The earth is healing, friends, and this is just the beginning. Congrats the UMass men's hockey team on their first National Championship since 1993. Well deserved.
