I don’t want to make a big deal about this but I’ve been on the Zal train for about a year now ever since he started ripping up the Korn Ferry. One of those classic I Know A Guy Who Knows A Guy Who Knows A Guy that grew up with Z and he’s apparently as stand up as it gets. While that’s nice, literally, it’s even more important that he’s been skull stuffing the PGA ever since catching on full time. The fact he’s in a final pairing doesn’t really surprise anyone who follows his game. It’s been more or less a waiting game on his putter and it’s finally here on the big stage.
