Bronson Arroyo Serenading Walker Buehler With Wonderwall At The Dodgers Ring Ceremony Was Fantastic

The Dodgers had their home opener on Friday and finally got their awesome looking World Series rings. Always a cool scene to see a team get their rings, but it was especially cool seeing Clayton Kershaw get his. Have to feel happy for him. We saw Max Muncy rock Tommy Lasorda themed cleats to honor the Dodger legend which was cool too. It was a pretty awesome ceremony that included some messages to the players.

We saw Ichiro speaking Spanish asking Edwin Ríos if he could have his World Series ring because Ichiro played a long time and never won one. Have to respect the move from Ichiro.

But the moment of the ceremony was when Bronson Arroyo came on the screen to congratulate pitcher Walker Buehler. Buehler has mentioned in the past that he loved watching Arroyo growing up and that he was a huge Reds fan, so the Arroyo connection makes sense. Bronson sent a little message to Walker and got real, real close to the camera. 

He started off by giving a little love poem type thing, telling Walker he knew there was something special about him when he met him. Probably could see that his fastball was money. He mentioned how they both won World Series with Dave Roberts, and then before he could really finish his sentence he busted out into song. Still only inches away from the camera, Arroyo starts singing "Wonderwall". We all remember that he was big into music and has his own album, we also remember the cornrows but that's for another day. He sings a little bit more and finishes up by starring deep into the camera and tells Buehler that he loves him and he'll see him around the bend.

There has to be some inside joke between them with this right? No way they reached out to Arroyo and asked him to send a message and he just randomly pulls out "Wonderwall" to tell Walker he loves him. I loved it though, super funny and I'm sure the team loved it too. I would love to get to the bottom of it and find out the real meaning. I knew Arroyo was always kind of an off the wall guy but this confirms it.
