I can't call the ending of this video a twist. A twist is a surprise. It's something you don't expect. It's something you've never seen before. This is something we've all seen before. Maybe not as bloody. Perhaps not as many teeth missing. But the second you saw this girl attempting to straddle that man's shoulders after hearing how many momos had been imbibed you knew there was no happy ending to this story. Me and her have the same smile now, welcome to the club.
I actually view this video as a sign of things to come. Drunk people falling down and severely injuring themselves is a time honored tradition in this country. But I don't think any of us are fully prepared for what the other side of this pandemic holds. We're gonna find the bottom of a lot of bottomless mimosas between now and the '30s. I haven't even come to grips with the fact that we live in the '20s. I haven't seen a single tommy gun toting bootlegger yet, which feels like a ripoff but whatever. There's plenty of decade left. As outside opens up more and more, there's going to be a lot more gap toothed smiles and amputated extremities because people forgot how to act.
