It's a bad day to be a couch in Westwood. It's a bad day to be a bookcase. UCLA fans are fucking fired up for this Cinderella run to the Final Four. I'll be honest. I never got the whole lighting shit on fire to celebrate. Let me get drunk as shit with my friends, party and talk about how awesome it is. That's my go-to. But hey, then again, I don't know how things got at UCLA. Maybe lighting a bookcase on fire is tradition. The fireworks are a nice touch though. Are they overrated? Absolutely. But you need to bust out fireworks for a celebration. I'm so jealous of the hangover these kids are going to have tomorrow. There's no better feeling in the world than celebrating your team winning shit. I highly encourage it, I miss it. It's also just a massive hangover waiting to happen. Shout out UCLA fans though. I didn't think they had celebrating in them. I didn't think they'd be going bananas for a trip to the Final Four. Who cares if you're UCLA, this is a hell of a run. I still can't believe Mick Cronin did this. Just an unbelievable run.
