The Giants Are Bringing In Kenny Golladay For A Free Agent Visit, Which Are Apparently Still A Thing In 2021

I have to admit that I had no idea that players still visited with teams during a pandemic unless there was QB1 franchise-changing money involved, but that's apparently the case here. Kenny may want to make sure that Coach Judge isn't like the ex-Patriots coach who just ran the Lions into the ground the last few seasons, Coach Judge may want to see how firm Kenny's handshake is along with what the cut of his jib looks like (I guarantee Coach Judge is a big jib guy) and Dave Gettleman is probably happy he can break out his secret weapon of offering a fresh Werther's Original to Golladay when it's time to seal the deal after his medicals come back clean as a whistle.

I'm not upset about this visit in the least though. Quite the opposite. The best resource the Giants have is a leader of men like Coach Judge. By the time Coach is done giving his speech out of a Friday Night Lights episode, not only will the Giants sign Golladay from the Lions but they will probably get Megatron and Barry Sanders too. Sure there is also a real chance Dave Gettleman will bid against himself while face-to-face with Golladay until he becomes the highest paid wide receiver in NFL history. But just having a chance to land a legit WR1 that appears to have real interest in the Giants before Daniel Jones' make or break year like Plaxico did once upon a time is so goddamn clutch.

I swear to God if Golladay leaks merch of him wearing a Giants uniform only to sign with the Bengals or some other team, I am going to fucking lose it.
