Middleton Travel has been in business for over 37 years. The company is women owned and the average employee has been with the company for 20 years. We are a local agency with a strong community presence. Over the years we have contributed to all organizations in our community and have offered support to individuals that have had difficult times. Our agency is very dedicated to our clients and our employees and have supported the Middleton community for 37 years. We are a full service agency and provide corporate, vacation, group travel and our very specialized women only trips (Girls Getaway). We are very strong in the sports market and have sent thousands of Badgers to their championship games over the years. We are very proud of our commitment to Wisconsin and our local community. The travel industry was clearly affected by the pandemic and it is in a critical state. Middleton Travel is a small local agency and it is close to impossible to continue to pay our bills. Mary and Pam (the owners) are not taking a salary in order to keep the company going, however both work every day to help our clients that have been so negatively affected by the the travel crisis. Our employees have worked endless hours to help our clients with the processing of refunds, cancellations and in some cases rebookings (yeah). Many of our clients were stranded when the pandemic first occurred and we assisted all of our clients to get home safely. The last year has been extremely difficult. Middleton Travel is doing everything to survive but could use some extra financial assistance for our monthly expenses and to give our employees hope for the future. We believe travel will be back but it is taking much longer than expected. Travel agencies only get paid after the trip is completed so even when people are back traveling we will not receive our commissions until after travel…likely many months/years after. This makes cash flow very, very difficult. We are very proud of the job we have done for the last year and would like to see a very positive future both for Middleton Travel and the travel industry.
