UNC Randomly Schedules Marquette A Week Ago, Gets Its Ass Kicked Then Roy Williams Walked Out Of His Press Conference After An A+ Rant

We got ol Roy swearing! Alert we got ol Roy swearing! I guess that's what happens when you schedule a game a week ago and it turns out like this. UNC got its ass kicked for 40 minutes by Marquette, which in theory doesn't sound bad, except Marquette isn't good this year. It's currently a quad 3 loss, not something you want when you're on the bubble. You can't be losing games like that if you want to stay on the right side of the bubble.

 But what a rant by Roy here. I love when Roy gets all flustered because it's so rare to see him get pissed. We saw it last year when he talked about wandering the streets of Chapel Hill trying to figure out how to get his team not to suck and today he's talking about UNC fans can't be dumb enough to know they would have lost this game. 

As a college basketball fan I loved that this game happened. We're in the middle of a weird year with games being canceled all over the place. If we can get a random nonconference game in February sign me up. But there is some truth to what Twitter was saying. UNC wasn't going to hurt itself not playing Marquette in the eyes of the committee. They've played a bunch of games. At best it's a quad 3 wins which doesn't move the needle. Worst case scenario is this. Just don't fucking dare ask Roy about scheduling.
