The Sioux Falls Stampede are in need of a little boost if they're going to make a playoff push here. They're currently sitting in 5th place in the Western Conference with a record of 15-15-3 in the USHL. About as average of a season as you could ask for.
Now I believe it was Aristotle who first said "look good, feel good, play good". If you need to rack up a few wins and you need to get those W's quick, well then it's not like you have time to better your team through practice and/or making a few trades to bring in some better players. You need results and you need them now? Well how about you slap on one of the crispiest sweaters in the history of the game.
You know what those uniforms say to me? They say an automatic 2 points. They say a certified trip to the W column. They say that the boys? Well they are most certainly going to be buzzing.
Just remember that on Wednesday February 24th, the Fighting Wiener Dogs were in 5th place in their conference. Because after they rattle off 20 wins in their final 21 games of the regular season here, we can look back at the Wiener Dog sweater as the turning point of the season.
