Jesse Plemons Is Joining DiCaprio and De Niro For Martin Scorsese's Next Movie

After playing an FBI agent in Judas and the Black Messiah, Jesse Plemons is looking to stay in the bureau. He is set to join Apple Studios’ Killers of the Flower Moon, which Martin Scorsese is directing with Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro attached to star.

Based on David Grann’s bestseller and set in 1920s Oklahoma, Killers of the Flower Moon depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation, a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the Reign of Terror. Plemons will play the lead FBI agent investigating the murders.

Anything Scorsese will will have must-watch attached to it. Anything. Add Robert De Leonardo Di Caprio and you have my undivided attention. At that point, casting one of my favorite fellow thicc boy's Jesse Plemons is just a cherry on top. He is a fantastic actor that has luckily been getting more shine as of late. He's known for a lot of things, but my favorite recent bit of his was in 'Game Night', where he delivered maybe the funniest line in a comedy of the last 5 years.

He was actually just in a movie that I think is going to be a frontrunner at the Oscars this year, 'Judas and the Black Messiah'. He didn't get a ton of room to work there(rightfully so), but hopefully this movie lets him get some more time. Conceptually, this sounds like it is going to be awesome. I'm thinking 'There Will Be Blood' meets 'Hostiles' meets 'Wind River'. That may not be a fair expectation, but that is what I am throwing out into the universe to manifest. I do hope that it is a little more exciting than 'The Irishman'. That was a very good movie, but you have to admit that it was god damn slow. Also, no CGI De Niro this time around.
