The Boston Bruins Are A JUGGERNAUT. 5 Straight Wins. 10 Game Point Streak.
Juggernaut. Absolute juggernaut these Boston Bruins are. 10 game point streak. 5 game win streak. Oh and*whispers* the scary part is that the B's aren't even playing their best hockey right now. They're still figuring out their PP (personally I'd go back to having McAvoy run it w. Grzelcyk out instead of 5 forwards). Cassidy is still trying to figure out whether he wants to keep Jake DeBrusk with Charlie Coyle or move him back with David Krejci. They're far from perfect right now, but man are they relentless. They take their lunch pail to work and grind it out (especially in the 3rd periods) and just continue to win games and rack up points. Team defense has been outstanding.
Nick Ritchie (5G) scored the lone goal tonight (Year of Ritchie continues) and Jaro Halak with a 21 save shut out. Matt Grzlecyk was once again out tonight and day to day with a LBI, Connor Clifton slotted in. Been an unfortunate start to the season for him with this injury bug.
Entertaining 2nd period with a couple of big fights...

We'll see Tuukka Rask as the B's head to Long Island to take on the Islanders tomorrow night. Frankie Borrelli and I will be going on IG Live tomorrow before the game to preview everything. Yes, I am shamelessly asking y'all to follow me so I can get to 10k and do swipe ups for my blog.
It was a great night to win a hockey game.
ps. tonight was the first night in a long time that I got to watch with the game with my dad. (shout out to Dave and Erika for having us get COVID tested 2x a week in the office). Not to get sentimental but man was it a sense of normalcy I had been missing. Just being able to watch a hockey game with the guy who I a) learned the game from and b) one of my biggest fans and biggest motivators, was simply just awesome. I think I took it for granted. Again, not to get sappy but man, is there anything better than being able to sit down and watch your favorite team with your dad? Just can't beat it. I was able to tonight and I'm so grateful.
